The "Patata Biscotto" method is an exclusive of Zanarini; it can be defined as an innovative, natural and healthy method of manufacturing a poor product such as the potato that has led us to introduce on the market an ample range of packagings recognizable for its sober and elegant line.
We propose the "Patata Biscotto" in little trunks easy to be carried, to be used in any moment without the need of keeping the product away from light and in awkward places of our houses. The packagings can be opened and closed at any use preserving the potato away from light that would make it become green.
A particular attention has been given to the details and the design in order to give a convenient and pleasant aspect to the trunk on our kitchen's shelves.
A fundamental characteristic of the "Patata Biscotto" line is the quality: the potato, exclusively Italian, chosen between the best batches, harvested with methods that find a fair compromise between mechanization and the preservation of the products integrity. |
Then comes the calibration in order to offer more homogeneous sizes and facilitate housewives in the cooking time, making it similar for all the potatoes contained in the packaging.
The product offered is not previously washed: this is a choice motivated by the will to leave on the potatoes a little bit of soil dust that ties them to their origins and maintains longer and in the best way their organoleptic qualities.
Each packaging is assembled by hand.
The "Patata Biscotto" line wants also to give the consumer more information on the best ways of cooking each class of product.
Each packaging has a particular color and a description which lead the consumer to chose a product depending on how he will employ it:
ellow little trunk for stewed, baked and steamed potatoes; ivory white for cream soups, minestrone and mashed potatoes; red for fried, salads and soups; we have also added in each packaging a nice and little handbook containing nifty potato based recipes.
"Patata Biscotto", doesn't only mean selling potatoes as if they were biscuits, in boxes or bags, it is rather a method of working, the respectful principle of informing the consumer, of giving him guarantee of quality; it is the proof of how a company can be sensible to the needs of a niche of consumers who appreciates a detailed information, the convenience and the quality.
